Centrifugal Pumps

Centrifugal pumps are often used to transfer liquids from one container to another during the beverage packaging process – such as from a holding tank to a filling machine.

To ensure the quality and stability of the end product, they may also be used to circulate cooling water or other heat transfer fluids, so a consistent temperature can be maintained. In addition, centrifugal pumps can be an important tool for cleaning and sanitation-circulating cleaning solutions through the processing equipment and flushing out residual product, before the next production run begins.

Challenges

Some fluids used in manufacturing processes can be abrasive or corrosive, which proceeds to wear away at the impeller and casing of centrifugal pumps. Regular maintenance and monitoring of the pump's performance can help to stop catastrophic damage, preventing extensive repair work and costly downtime for your factory.
